New Hip Hop teacher Alexie Melanson ,14 , is certainly not new to the chaos family. She has been dancing with Chaos's junior/senior/senior elite crews for the past 3 years. She was the youngest dancer to be accepted in the senior crew. Her dance experience includes dancing for 7 years Massachusetts. She has competed in numerous dance competitions, winning awards such as Eastern Canadian Dance School of the Year in 2010 and 2011 (CHAOS), as well as prizes for her solo, duo, and group performances.
Alexie has participated in workshops with well known choreographers such as Luther Brown, Nappytabs, members of Quest Crew, Jabbawockeez, Blueprint and many more... She continues to take classes in Ballet, Hip Hop, and contemporary dance, hoping to keep improving her skills. She has also been the assistant in Hip Hop classes with Janique Sivret Aucoin and Genevieve Mcintyre over the years.

Geneviève McIntyre

Born in St-Maure, New-Brunswick, Geneviève holds a bachelors degree in civil engineering, and currently works with Acadian Construction Ltd. She has been teacher and choreographer with the University of Moncton’s troupe Virtuose since 2003, and was ecstatic to open her own school, CHAOS, with friend and fellow dancer Janique.

At the age of 5, Geneviève took baton twirling lessons, and later on, turned her focus to dance by taking classes such as ballet, pointe, modern, pompom, lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop. She quickly became an avid hip-hop dancer, and believes the style is her forte in both choreography and technique. She has participated in numerous events and competitions, which to this day, remain a passion of hers.

In the past years, Geneviève has made sure to continue her learning experience as a dancer, teacher and choreographer by taking workshops with professional dancers. This allows her to remain up to date with the dance world, and to ensure her choreographies and classes are capable of emanating the highest potential in CHAOS’ dancers.

Janique Sivret Aucoin

Janique’s participation in the dance world goes well beyond founding CHAOS dance school. She has been a teacher-choreographer with University of Moncton’s Virtuose troupe for the past 8 years, an experience that enticed her to open her own school with friend and fellow dancer, Geneviève. Together, they have formed troupes that demonstrate great potential. The multiple awards and recognition they have acquired over the years are manifestations of their talent and passion for dance.

Although Janique holds a Bachelors degree in business administration and a bachelors degree in law (being a lawer by profession), she cannot help but reserve time to share her love for dance with those around her. Originally from Bathurst, NB, she has been dancing since the age of 3 in various styles including jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, ballet, pointe, and baton twirling. She has gained countless experience on stage as a performer and competitor, and considers hip-hop to be her strength as a dancer and choreographer.

In order to remain in formation, Janique and Geneviève constantly follow workshops (including the «Stage international de Voiron» in France, and Monsters of Hip Hop in Orlando), an exercise which allows them to remain in line with the latest trends and styles, and to increase their skill and knowledge of dance.

Karine Martin

Since the beginning of her dance career, she has participated in numerous dance conventions including Monsters of Hip-Hop, Monsters of Contemporary, The Pulse, and iDance. She has been awarded prizes and scholarships through competitions and conventions, allowing her to dance in New York, Vancouver, Paris, Orlando, etc. She has been crowned Protégé at the iDance convention for 2012.
She has also been awarded at the Eastern Championships with the titles of Best Solo, Best Duo, Best Performer and Best Improvisation.Through competitions and conventions, Karine has had the opportunity to dance among the likes of renowned dancers and choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Luther Brown, Nappytabs, Jabbawockeez, Quest Crew, etc. She dreams of being a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance Canada or America’s Best Dance Crew, as well as participating at a worldwide hiphop event, Hip Hop International.

Growing up in a small native village it wasn’t easy making friends, so he got very involved in after school activities; anything to keep him away from the drugs and violence on the reserve.
He was introduced to bboying (break dancing) when he was about 16 years old. He learned the foundation of the style while living in Toronto, and has since moved to Moncton, New Brunswick. He still competes in competitions throughout Atlantic Canada. Terry’s knowledge of B-Boying (Break dancing) has been influenced by some of the most respected names in the hip hop scene. His knowledge of bboying) comes from some of the most respected names in the hip hop scene. These include Lenny Len, Puzzles, Crazy Legs & YNot, Poe One, and many others.
